The Fairwater duffle coat from Mister Freedom’s “Sub-Mariner” collection takes its name from the control center in the tower of a submarine. In classic MF fashion, it is inspired by historical wear, often from the armed forces: Duffle coats were standard issue to the British Royal Navy, and common to all British troops by WWII. The coat is defined by a heavy, dense wool material for warmth (melton wool in this case), and toggle closures (wood and twisted linen rope).
